Building Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Building Project Manager to oversee hotel and multifamily apartment developments from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, budgeting, and scheduling skills, along with hands-on experience managing multiple trades and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds strong relationships with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and maintains exceptional attention to detail at every stage of construction.

What you’ll do

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of hotel and apartment construction projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Lead contractor bidding, selection, and contract negotiation processes.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance and quality control.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings; track daily activities and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee structural, MEP, interiors, FF&E, and finish coordination.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation through management software.
• Enforce safety compliance, maintain daily logs, and ensure jobsite organization and professionalism.
• Ensure timely completion of final inspections, occupancy permits, and closeout documentation.
• Approve invoices, payment applications, and change requests in alignment with budget controls.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design integrity or schedule performance.
• Provide weekly and monthly project status reports to leadership teams.
• Lead on-site teams, including Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and subcontractors.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with architects, designers, consultants, and local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, safety policies, and site-specific safety plans.
